Good Monday morning Antioch family and friends,
I pray that your week has begun with joy and anticipation of what God is going to do in our midst and lives over the coming week. This week is no ordinary week as we have set aside this coming Sunday as Homecoming Sunday and we’ll celebrate 162 years of coming home to Antioch Baptist Church. Antioch has come along way since its humble beginnings in a one-room log school building at the AI crossroads. We know that this is all because of God’s blessing and His people who chose to follow His leading. I pray that you will clear your calendar to be with us and invite friends as Pastor Mike Whitt preaches on Sunday and his choir from New Life Baptist Church offers special music as well as our very own choir… of course “if we ain’t eating we ain’t meeting” so bring your favorite covered dish or better yet my favorite covered dish lol and stay after service for a wonderful time of fellowship Sunday afternoon, in the meantime remember yesterday’s message from John 10 that there is only 1 true Shepherd who can lead us in the path of righteousness, beside the still waters and to heaven- His name is Jesus! May you follow our great Shepherd each and every day of your life!
